Facilities

Our puppies are born and raised in a home environment, not in a kennel situation. They learn the sights, smells, and sounds of a typical home as they grow up, and are gradually introduced to adult dogs, cats, and new people. Our whelping and puppy areas are kept extremely clean, and are set up for the comfort of both mom and puppies with soft bedding. Music and sound CD's are played for the puppies throughout their development, so they grow up to be confident around loud noises. The puppies also get lots of supervised time outside when they start to walk, to start building strong bones and excellent body awareness.

Veterinary Care

Our puppies get the very best veterinary care from the time they are conceived until the time they go home. Our momma dogs are fed a high quality diet throughout pregnancy and nursing. They are all up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Once litters are born, they are carefully monitored to make sure they are nursing and growing as they should. They are routinely dewormed and receive their first series of immunizations prior to leaving our care.

Building Confident Puppies

One thing that sets us apart from other breeders is what we introduce our puppies to when they are 4-8 weeks of age, and longer for those that remain in our training program. This period of a puppy's life is a very important time, and much of their lifelong behaviors and temperament are shaped during this time. Based on the Puppy Culture system, our puppies are introduced to rotating variety of puppy agility equipment, adventure boxes, new surfaces, and new experiences. This is very important for both physical and mental development, and we take this time very seriously. Our puppies are also introduced to very basic aspects of clicker training, potty training, luring, and manners while the puppies are still with their litter. This allows us to accomplish early training, and by extension, achieve things in our training programs that other programs are unable to.
